Antenatal Shared Care

Shared Antenatal Care is sharing pregnancy care between the hospital antenatal clinic and the GP, and is suitable for pregnant women with no risk factors for the mother or fetus.

GPs consult the patient and can refer to the hospital’s obstetric team if required. An agreed protocol is followed by the GPs and hospitals participating in the program.

Shared antenatal care is currently being provided by Dr Sandhya Yarlagadda, Dr Linda Le and Dr Herim Kwon at the North Ryde Medical Centre facility.

It is available for Royal North Shore, Hornsby and Northern Beaches hospitals.
